Give myself

Our Goal

For the long-term project Give myself, Joseph Kuosac will be working with different charity organizations, which involves fundraising and spreading awareness to the respective movements/causes. Ultimately, our aim is to benefit the lives of those who are in need through giving them that extra hand of support. The process of giving to others is not only meaningful for the receiver but also the giver as it can have great effects on our mental wellbeing, and this is the type of “push myself” mentality we hope to spread to the community.

With the love that JK has received from all around the world, we believe this is an opportunity for us to come together and develop a community that positively impacts others. Thus, for every charitable piece that is bought from JK, we will be donating a portion of the earnings to the respective charity organizations. JK is extremely thankful for those who are willing to participate in this project because your purchase may bring great change to the lives of many.

Works

For the month of October 2020, Joseph Kuosac hosted its first breast cancer awareness event, Ride for Breast Cancer Awareness. Officially partnering with Dr. Susan Love Foundation, JK will be donating a portion of earnings to Dr. Susan Love Foundation for all purchases of JK Pink Ribbon Works. During the month, JK will be organizing giveaway events for the community in hopes of spreading awareness for the cause. For the finale event, Ride for Breast Cancer Awareness, JK encourages everyone to participate to show support to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the winners will be able to receive rewards such as our Pink Ribbon Carbon Wheel Set and Carbon Handlebar.

Charity Organizations

Dr. Susan Love Foundation

Currently, breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer for women, taking up the lives of many every year. As a brand that focused more on masculine designs, we want to shift our focus and show appreciation to our female audience as well. For all works associated with breast cancer awareness, we will be donating a portion of our earnings to Dr. Susan Love Foundation, a well-known organization operated by Susan M. Love, who has dedicated her professional life to ending breast cancer.

Other charity activities

Joseph Kuosac is also involved with several local charity organizations in Taiwan.

Above is the letter of appreciation from Good Friend Mission, a center for Youth and Youth to be. As bicycles are known to be a convenient and simple transportation for children and young teens, JK decided to donate a few brand new Fitto bikes to support these children. Fitto bikes are designed with “bike-fit” concept, which we think is the most important concept of cycling, since it is very easy to hurt your body if the bicycle is not fitted to your body. As these children are still growing, we hope our bicycles can not only provide them convenience but also comfort when riding.
